DSP Internship Program


The California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is pleased to offer the Direct Service Professional (DSP) Internship Program. The DSP Internship Program is a paid on-the-job training program for people interested in starting a rewarding career working with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. The statewide program pays you while receiving entry-level training and practical work experience while you shadow a qualified DSP for up to three months and up to thirty hours per week. We are looking for people that have a passion for working with others and like to see individuals live their best lives and feel empowered. As a DSP Intern, you may secure permanent employment at any time.

The DSP Internship Program is presented by DDS and administered through a contract with All's Well Healthcare Services.
